The Land Quality Management (LQM) division of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) have relead the 2nd edition of their General Assessment Criteria (GAC’s) for human health risk assessment.
The document see the revision of the existing determinands along with the introduction of many many new GAC’s including Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) 16 fractions.
This follows the revision of Environment Agency (EA) legilation and the introdution of the new CLEA 1.04 software model, and the creation of new Soil Guideline Values (SGVs) by the EA.
